Bio: Leah Carnow is in her fifth and final year of rabbinical school at Hebrew College in Newton, MA. Prior to rabbinical school, Leah worked as an actor, a health administrator, and a Jewish educator in the Boston area. She is a registered yoga teacher and has taught vinyasa and restorative yoga to children and adults of all ages, in both English and Hebrew. Leah is passionate about stories, embodied spirituality, and pastoral care. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, seeing live music and theater, baking bread, and drumming on her darbuka. Over the past four years of rabbinical school, Leah has helped lead prayer with Nava Tehila in Jerusalem, served the Temple Sinai (Brookline) community as a rabbinic intern and family educator, worked as a chaplain intern at BIDMC, and supported the Miller Center’s PsalmSeason project. Leah returned to the Boston area last summer after spending two years studying at the Pardes Institute in Jerusalem and now serves as the rabbinic intern at Temple Beth Zion in Brookline, MA.
