IN THE MIDDLE: Are You Not-Quite-TRIBE, Not-Quite-BOOMER? Lunch Discussion with Rabbi Brous

Are you not quite TRIBE, not quite BOOMER? We’ve heard a lot of interest over the past year in helping IKARites in their 40s and 50s find each other.

You know who you are: you’re starting to bald, but that’s ok because you’re funnier and smarter now than you were when you had hair. You’d rather sip a really good scotch than throw back tequila shots. You’re on top of your game, but you occasionally wake up with inexplicable body aches and lately you’ve been finding food in your teeth after meals. You love that the kids are in services, but are also kind of annoyed when the ones making noise aren’t your own. Speaking of kids, you sometimes need to ask one to help you turn on the DVD.

Come join Rabbi Brous for lunch after Shabbat morning services on February 23, and we’ll see if something new somewhere between TRIBE and Boomers is being born at IKAR.
