It’s time to get those creative energies flowing! As we start reading the Torah once again from the beginning, encounter the Creation story at precisely a moment when our own world needs some re-creating. This year we’ve designed the seven hakafot (holy circles around the Torah) as a safely-distanced but fully embodied tour through the Seven Days of Creation, with a couple of unexpected surprises. Not telling you what they are yet, but let’s just say there may be hula hoops involved. So let’s boogie, get loud, and l’chaim it up (with alcoholic and non-alcoholic libations).
Family Bite-Size Service: Families with children ages 0-5 (and their older siblings) are invited to dance, sing, create and get joyful as we celebrate the Torah! Bring a blanket to sit on and join us outdoors on the roof of Shalhevet from 5:00-6:00pm. Register here! If you can help run one of our activity tables for the kids, please email Beth.
IKAR Teens: Hang out from 6:00-7:00 on the roof of Shalhevet for snacks and mocktails! To RSVP, email [email protected].
