IKAR Presents: The Polyphony Quartet in Concert
IKAR is excited to present the Polyphony Quartet in concert on Saturday, March 26th at 8:00pm at Shalhevet High School. Following the music program, there will be a presentation about Polyphony’s work followed by a Q&A with Polyphony’s founder and director, Nabeel Abboud Ashkar.
Polyphony uses the unique power of classical music to transcend cultural and social boundaries between Arab and Jewish communities to build a rich, diverse, and vibrant civil society in Israel. Through a multi-tiered program, in partnership with leading Israeli cultural and educational organizations, Polyphony is helping to bridge the divide between Arab and Jewish youth through classical music and related art forms.
