This d’var Torah is dedicated to Ruby and Hart Campbell, the children of Gail Lerner and Colin Campbell, whose lives were tragically cut short on June 12, 2019. So many of us, near and far, have been affected and heartbroken by their deaths. As we support Gail and Colin through unfathomable grief, and lean on each through this sorrowful chapter, let us tap into the healing and creative power of words. In the face of inexplicable pain and darkness, the practice of writing provides us with ordering principles that can carry us through on our journey forward.
