Rabbi Keilah Lebell

Part-Time, Rabbi From Afar

Rabbi Keilah Lebell  re-joined us in January 2023 as a part-time rabbi-from-afar, bringing her unique and timeless wisdom and great care to our community to help guide our growing community through moments of sorrow and celebration. After three years at IKAR, Rabbi Lebell had stepped down from her position when she and her family moved to Tennessee, but as they say: you can check out of IKAR any time you want, but you can never leave. We are excited to welcome Rabbi Lebell back to our team.

Rabbi Keilah Lebell was ordained at the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies and spent the first three years of her rabbinate working for ikar. She and her husband, Rabbi Sam Rotenberg, recently moved with their three young children to Chattanooga, Tennessee where he serves as the rabbi for B’nai Zion Congregation. Rabbi Lebell specializes in pastoral care and spiritual counseling, using Jewish text and practice to help individuals and communities heal and find hope.
