Rabbi Keilah Lebell currently serves as an assistant rabbi at IKAR where she was also the Jewish Emergent Network Rabbinic Fellow. She was ordained at the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies, along with her husband Sam Rotenberg, who is an assistant rabbi at Sinai Temple. Keilah was raised by a writer and an editor in rural northern California and therefore grew up with a deep love for words and for nature. With a passion for spiritual healing and personal growth, Keilah focuses her rabbinate on pastoral care for individuals and community, life cycle rituals, and Hesed. She has served as a spiritual counselor at Beit T’Shuvah, the rabbinic intern for the Miller Intro to Judaism Program, and Rabbinic Educator at the Brandeis Collegiate Institute. She and Sam are blessed with two children, Meir and Della.
