When signs of the affliction tzara’at begin to appear on the walls of our homes, the Torah prescribes a number of steps to eradicate the disease. The underlying principle: we cannot move forward until we come to terms with the past. The new Legacy Museum: From Enslavement to Mass Incarceration, built in a former slave warehouse in Montgomery, AL, is an attempt to do just that.
