The Parkland shooting never should have happened. Our nation’s children are on the front line of a deadly battle they didn’t ask to fight– and decades of tepid criticism along with an appetite for moral equivocation has allowed it be such. We must now own our failure and stand up behind our kids, who remind us of the need to bring our souls and our bodies, our prayers and our action to this fight.
