Green Action

We must be part of a culture shift, a shift in consciousness. We are building an island of spiritual resistance. And I am asking us to believe that it just might matter. – Rabbi Sharon Brous

As we face an unprecedented ecological and climate emergency, Green Action activists are focused on radically transforming our lives, our communities, our city, and the planet. We invite all IKAR members to join our monthly Green Action meetings on the first Monday of each month at 7 pm in partnership with Dayenu where we build our strength as advocates for environmental justice.

Watch Rabbi Brous’s Rosh Hashanah sermon on the climate crisis.

Check out IKAR’s Earth Challenge 5780.
