Conversion
We’re thrilled that you are deepening your relationship with Judaism and Jewish community, and eager to support you on your journey.
We welcome you wherever you are in the conversion process (committed, considering, just curious?) as you deepen your learning about living a Jewish life and as you explore Jewish community. The conversion process is deeply personal, and we are eager to work with you individually to facilitate your journey. Here are some things to look forward to:
Introduction to Judaism class
Our students take an Introduction to Judaism class. Most participate in the Miller Program at AJU, an 18 week course. This is a wonderful way for you to deepen your basic Jewish knowledge with a cohort of learners on a similar path.
Bi-monthly Converts + New Jews Cohort gatherings
Our students participate in an IKAR bi-monthly Converts + New Jews Cohort gatherings as a way to continue your learning and build relationships with others on the way. Click here to attend a gathering.
One-on-one counsel and learning
Each student is paired with one of our rabbis for one-on-one counsel and learning as you work through the final stages of preparation for conversion.
