Roof Torah

Shabbat Ki Teitzei Sermon. Our Torah Reading this week has more laws in it than any other in the Torah, 74 in total. One of those is the commandment to build a protective fence around ones roof, so that no one can fall off. Okay, safety first, I guess… but is there a deeper meaning embedded in this seemingly random law?
