The Faith of My Father

By
Rabbi David Kasher

Shabbat Shmini Sermon. Sad stories of fathers and sons: One son submits so completely to the will of his father, we can’t take anything he says seriously. Another father can’t get his sons to take anything he says seriously. How do we navigate our way between these two broken models of parent/child relationships? Is there a middle path?
