When You’re So Right You’re Wrong

There’s something toxic in the water these days, manifesting in inexcusably cruel behavior that ultimately only distracts and undermines. The Torah’s obsession with the contamination that comes from contact with the dead teaches us that part of the blessing of being alive is that we can strive to be like God: able to evolve and admit when we were wrong, even for all the right reasons. A look at some recent missteps on the left (the Dyke March and Israel Parade) and a call for both compassion and realignment with core principles.
