Joseph, Part II: The Crying Man – Rabbi David Kasher

Joseph can’t stop crying. There is no shortage of tears in the book of Genesis, but no one cries more than Joseph. Before this book’s end, he will weep no less than eight times. Why is Joseph so constantly on the verge of tears, and what does a character like that teach us about how to read the Torah?
