Laurie Hall earned her Masters of Social Work from Washington University in St Louis in 1994, became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in CA in 2002, and has worked as a bilingual (Spanish) psychotherapist ever since. She has lived in San Diego since 1998, but was raised in the Los Angeles area. She has always been active in the Jewish community, as she was involved in a conservative synagogue as a child, B’nai B’rith Youth Organization as a teen, and Jewish Renewal communities as an adult. Laurie found IKAR during the early months of the pandemic and has been active ever since, particularly enjoying the loving, healing community of the daily morning Minyan.
