Susan’s first encounter with IKAR was a Roxbury picnic Shabbat but she was truly drawn in after a transformative High Holy Days service a few years later. She immediately knew there was something remarkable about this community and that she wanted to be a part of it. Susan is an empowering, multi-disciplinary leader with a great sense of humor which she uses to collaborate, inspire, and cultivate community. A creative problem solver who makes things happen while navigating complex challenges, Susan is thrilled to translate her 15 years of experience in entertainment marketing to sustain IKAR’s thriving community through fundraising.

In her non-working life, Susan enjoys copious amounts of high-end coffee, making memories with her two boys, disco balls, Golden Girls, true crime podcasts, houseplants, and competing in triathlons. She’s completed two half-IronMan races and she hopes to podium by age 80.
