None of Your Business
Shabbat Shemot I Sermon. Rabbi Sharon Brous
When Moses and Aaron go before Pharaoh to demand their people’s freedom, he doesn’t just refuse, he offers a lesson: go mind your own business. Worry about your problems and leave these people alone. Sometimes, even in the midst of looming national catastrophe, things are pretty good on the home front. Moses and Aaron were awake enough to realize that the people’s business was their business. Let us keep the same in mind, even on the good days.
