Helping Pre-Teens and Teens Thrive

A Conversation for Parents of Children in Fourth Grade and Up Growing up during an era of mental health turmoil, politically motivated violence, and a rising tide of antisemitism is presenting multiple challenges for Jewish pre-teens and teens. Join Rabbi Daniel Brenner, Vice President-Education for Moving Traditions, as we explore Jewish ideas about adolescence, wellbeing, and spiritual growth that speak to the current crises impacting youth. Specifically, we will dive into the psychological concept of the “Tasks of Adolescence” and explore how parents can support young people in developing the skills and mindset required to grow intellectually and spiritually.
