Jewish Partners for Los Angeles is taking over Belle’s Deli and Bar in Highland Park with an incredible lineup of entertainment, menorah lighting, and special guests. Hear from JPLA leaders and partners about what we’ve built together and what’s ahead. And of course, you’ll enjoy some of the best deli food in Los Angeles.

Come celebrate the Festival of Lights with delicious food, warm community, and plenty of holiday spirit. We’ll light the Hanukkiah together, enjoy music and fun activities, and share a festive meal created by you—our wonderful community. Please bring a favorite vegan/vegetarian dish to contribute to our potluck table. Traditional Hanukkah treats are always welcome (hello, latkes and sufganiyot!), but any dish you love is perfect. Services 6:30pm PT, Dreidel Classic 7:30pm – Dinner RSVP / Dreidel RSVP TRIBErs, gather at 5:30pm for happy hour. We’ll have community Shabbat services starting at 6:30pm in person at Shalhevet or on YouTube and Zoom. Then, fuel up on latkes and get ready for our 1st Annual IKAR Hold’em Dreidel Classic! We’re doing it tournament-style, so we need you to sign-up here asap and learn how to play here. But wait, it gets better! Not only are we holding an ugly Hanukkah sweater contest, we’re also giving out prizes for both contests. Who will be MCing all of this, you might ask? IKARite comedians and father-daughter duo, Randy and Daisy Sklar! Join us for a night of laughter, dreidels, and sweaters.

Break out those dancing shoes, TRIBE Disco is back for the Festival of Lights! •DJs spinning from 8 til late •Disco outfits highly encouraged •Latkes? You’d better believe it Spread the word, bring your friends!   Enjoy a DJ set by our very own Rabbinic Intern, Jacob Schatz. There’s no entrance fee — we just ask that you support Canter’s Deli by grabbing some food or a drink while you’re there.
