Virtually Neighbors Circle: Passover Seder
Sun April 13 1-4pm PT / 2-5pm MT / 3-6pm CT / 4-7 ET We have a very big ‘table’ and there is ROOM for EVERYONE! Zoom Captions will be Enabled. If we need an ASL interpreter, please let me know asap and I’ll do my best to find one! If you ARE or know an ASL interpreter, please let me know because one day we will for sure need one! Options to Bring to our Table OPTIONS! Don’t have it? NO WORRIES! This is a very come-as-you-are seder!  Kiddush Cup & Grape Juice/Wine Three Matzot & something to cover them Seder Plate with Zeroa (bone) or Beet, Charoset, Maror (bitter herbs – often lettuce), Hazeret (more bitter herbs – often horseradish), Karpas (greens for dipping like parsley or celery), Salt Water (or any tangy sauce), Beitza (roasted, hard boiled egg) Vegetables and dip welcome for snacking/appetizers! Carrot sticks, celery, potato spears – anything covered in the karpas “ha’adamah” bracha for food that grows in the ground. Your add-ons for this Pesach: for example an olive for real peace in Israel and Gaza and for everyone in the Land, something that represents a justice issue you care about A handwashing vessel of some kind with water and a basin/bowl and a towel You are welcome to bring but don’t need your favorite Haggadah. Everything we need will be on the screen. **Because the timing is different for all of us, we are not organizing this seder around the shulchan orech (festive meal). That said, if it is EXACTLY the right time for you to eat (whatever time that is) while we are sedering, please do! ***If there is anything I can do to help facilitate/accommodate/support your full participation, please let me know! If I can’t make it happen, I’ll let you know, but please do ask. IF YOU NEED ANY INFORMATION YOU CAN’T FIND HERE: [email protected] Can you IMAGINE Rabbi Yochanan ben Zakkai listening in on THIS seder? We are forever grateful that he chose Yavneh and made this possible. What about Rabbi Akiva and Rachel, or Ima Shalom and Rabbi Eliezer? Miriam and Batya? We love being our ancestors’ wildest dreams.
