Steve Magid
Community Engagement Coordinator

Steve is an artist and educator with a love for helping people find their way in to community and Jewish life. They have spent time working as a Behavioral Therapist, horticulturist, community choir leader, Jewish non-profit professional, and an art chaplaincy facilitator, and they have found one through-line in all of their work: people-centered and heart-driven connectedness. Steve is excited to bring that ethos to IKAR’s membership team and create opportunities for the IKAR community to meaningfully connect to one another.

In their free time, Steve loves all things yarn and fabric – knitting, sewing, crocheting, quilting, you name it. They are also an avid reader of epic fantasy, a lover of D&D, a proud pug owner, and a long-time IKAR community member themselves along with their husband Kenneth.
