Virtual Morning Minyan
Our virtual Morning Minyan is one of the best-kept secrets of IKAR. Monday-Friday and Sunday at 8am PT on Zoom, we’ll explore a different modality we might use to help us access our prayer life: singing, meditation, study, etc. And each day we will end with a Mourner’s Kaddish.
Tisha B’Av with Temple Beth Am
“Even when I Cry and Plead, My Prayer is Stifled” (Eicha 3:8)
Jeremiah’s frustration as Jerusalem careened toward destruction is one that we might often feel ourselves. Our prayer experience feels lifeless and stifled. How can we unlock our prayer when we are feeling stuck, or when we find ourselves in Jeremiah’s prayer-shoes?
