Ahavat Chinam: Boundless Love will be a community-wide Selichot concert event — an evening to sing together, reflect together, meet one another, and enter the High Holiday season with a renewed sense of connection, possibility, and shared purpose.

By bringing these communities together under one roof, Ahavat Chinam hopes to offer something increasingly important: an opportunity to experience the Los Angeles Jewish community not as separate congregations or institutions, but as one diverse and interconnected community.

The gathering is designed to create new relationships, strengthen existing ones, and celebrate the richness and diversity of Jewish life in Los Angeles as the community prepares together for the High Holidays.

Our virtual Morning Minyan is one of the best-kept secrets of IKAR. Monday-Friday and Sunday at 8am PT on Zoom, we’ll explore a different modality we might use to help us access our prayer life: singing, meditation, study, etc. And each day we will end with a Mourner’s Kaddish.

Orot (60+) Virtual Happy Hour
Wind down and get ready for Shabbat. We are diverse: still working and retired; single, divorced, widowed, and in a relationship; have children, grandchildren, pets, plants, or none of the above; Angelinos and transplants. What we have in common is ikar, a multitude of experiences, and a desire to spend some of our time enjoying events and experiences with those in our age group (60+).
