Thank you to EVERYONE who is coming together to make this happen!
Get ready to celebrate Purim with joy. We’re thrilled to invite you to our online Megillah Reading, where we’ll come together to hear the incredible story of Esther, raise a toast, and enjoy some Purim goodness.
Costumes encouraged.
We would LOVE for you to participate by reading IN ENGLISH, IN HEBREW, or by CHANTING – please let us know by signing up for what you want to do here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/19DZ_GspLEH3IMK4LoACiPXdtKXAlJ_2a2qUCUMAPi9Q/edit?usp=sharing
YOU ARE WELCOME TO COME TO HEAR THE MEGILLAH AS A LISTENER! READING/CHANTING IS AN INVITATION AND NOT AN OBLIGATION!
Still, could we get 7 people to read or chant? We absolutely think so! Then we’ll have at least 1 person for each of the days of the week.
Could we get 10 people? A minyan? No doubt!
Think we can get 127 people representing all 127 provinces in the Megillah?
Now THAT would be a great challenge.
Chag Purim Sameach!
What’s Virtually Neighbors? We are an all-and-always online community of folks connected with IKAR. (Folks who also join IKAR things in-person are welcome and IKAR membership is not required.) Circles are small affinity groups and this one will meet once or twice a month to celebrate holidays, connect meaningfully, and have social gatherings.
