Deborah Harris moved to Los Angeles in 2014 from St Louis where, before becoming a Chaplain, she was a dancer, dance educator, MSW social worker, and also served as a leader of embodied prayer and chant at Central Reform Congregation. As a Chaplain, she has provided spiritual care in numerous hospitals and hospice settings, most recently Providence Holy Cross Medical Center. She is a graduate of Rabbi Shefa Gold’s Chant Leadership training, and leads groups in chant as a spiritual practice. Currently she facilitates grief support groups and individual bereavement care. Deborah is married to Ed and the mother of 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren.
