Rachel joined the board in December 2013. She is grateful that she found a home at IKAR since moving to LA in 2010. She received her B.A. in English with a minor in Business from Washington University, where she met her husband, Jason. They are the proud parents of two children.

She attended law school in at Cardozo in NYC where she was Acquisitions Editor of the Arts & Entertainment Law Journal. Rachel works as an in-house attorney for Chanel and serves on the board of the Fashion Industries Guild of Cedars Sinai, the L.A. Regional Board of Indego Africa, a nonprofit social enterprise that supports women artisans in Rwanda and is member of the Alliance of Moms. She hails from Baltimore with two sets of grandparents who were machers in their respective synagogues – so joining the IKAR board felt like a bit of a homecoming.
