Over the past few weeks there’s been an increase in attacks on the trans, gender non-conforming, and non-binary community through exclusionary legislation introduced in states across the country. We affirm our support for trans and non-binary people, created in God’s own image. And we are committed to ensuring a sense of love, safety and community both inside IKAR and in the broader world.
We invite transgender, non-binary, gender non-conforming people and their families to a conversation (exact time/date to be determined) about what kind of organizing and community-building you would like to do together with and through IKAR. Please let us know if you’d like to join the conversation.
