The circle’s goal is to study an element of history and relate it to current events. This year, the Circle is taking a deep dive into the Reconstruction era, and studying the concept of Freedom as defined by the 13th Amendment, Citizenship and Due process as defined by the 14th Amendment, and the Right to Vote as defined by the 15th Amendment. The Circle meets monthly and welcomes anyone interested to join.
