Dayenu LA – From Anxiety to Action: Jewish Wisdom & Skill-Building for a Climate-Changing World

How do we move forward when the future feels unknown and frightening? Imagination and climate storytelling can be powerful organizing tools to help us tell the story of — and then build — the world we want.

Join Rabbi Laura Bellows, Dayenu’s Director of Spiritual Activism, and Dayenu California Organizer and Rabbinic Fellow Savannah Lipner for an immersive in-person gathering at the IKAR event space in Los Angeles.

This 3-hour workshop weaves together two things our movement desperately needs: spiritual depth and organizing power. Through Midrash, storytelling, and song, we’ll draw on the wisdom of our tradition to metabolize grief, renew our sense of purpose, and strengthen the bonds that sustain this work over the long haul. Then we’ll roll up our sleeves with political education on California’s most pressing climate campaigns and hands-on skill-building you can bring straight back to your community.

Whether you’ve been organizing with Dayenu for years or you’re just starting to ask how your Jewish values connect to this crisis, you belong here.

No prior Jewish learning experience is required. All are welcome.
