Silent No More

By
Rabbi Sharon Brous

Shabbat Noah Sermon. Rabbi Sharon Brous

Few women in the Torah are mentioned by name (even if they’re later named by the Rabbis); many are entirely silent. It’s time we tell the stories that weren’t recorded. The stories we were too scared to share, those that weren’t deemed important enough to be remembered. It’s about reading between the lines, and listening. And being quiet enough to hear the heart that beats along with the ocean. Our voices are desperately needed. #MeToo
